Yeah, that's what the warden (Strother Martin) said in "Cool Hand Luke." He said it in a very reasonable tone after whacking Luke (Paul Newman) with a billy club and sending him flying down a hillside.

Thereafter, the warden and his henchmen did everything possible to break Luke's will and make him "get his thinking straight."

Well, somewhere along the line, our media has had a failure to communicate the lies, high crimes and misdemeanors being committed in our name.

And John Ashcroft is doing everything in his power to "get our thinking straight."

In the end, they murdered Luke. So given where we are now, what happens if Bush gets four more years?

A southern chain gang, or concentration camps?
