It looks like the approval numbers are trending up, so there's hope. If you're members of Alabama Arise, there was a message this evening that rebuts the opposition's canard that they "don't trust the legislature" I'll be happy to send it to any of you if you send me your email address.

The secret is to get to the low income and African American communities, and frankly, as a white middle class guy, I don't have that much of an "in". So keep talking to people, get to the black churches, and keep those letters to the editor flowing (I've got two I'm waiting to see in print).
