who just graduated, was all for the invasion. so I said, if you support this action so much, why don't you enlist and get your head blown off?

he didn't, btw.

but every able man in this country who supports this invasion should, imo, go join up right now and put his life where his mouth is.

It makes me sick to hear these pampered biz school boys talk up war while they make sure they'll never have to fight it.

Gen. Butler had the right idea. he thought that before we could go to war, all the corporations had to agree to the same salaries, across the board, as all the soldiers make, and that a plebesite of men of draft age should be the ones to decide if it was a just war.
