1968 McGovern ran on the peace ticket and a buch of scared people voted Nixon in.

After that the National Security Issue was claimed by Repugs

During the Convention you had a bunch of Flag and General Officers on the stage... guess what it was more than just wraping yourself in the flag, but proving that we are good for national security

I know some do not see this, but if we are to take the WH and hopefully one, if not both Houses... we need to take every issue away from Repukes, INCLUDING National Security

Oh and as a wife of a USN Chief (Ret) whose patriotism is questioned because I questioned the President while my husband deployed into harms way, taking that flag back IS important.
