I just can't friggin' believe 70%!

How the h@ll can 70% of the state be bigots and religious nuts?!?

If my fiancee doesn't get the job she's up for in St. Charles, I might seriously start thinking of moving to Illinois. Not that southern IL is much better, but at least they've got Chicago, with enough population to offset a lot of their nuts.

Last I saw, almost 50% of ST. LOUIS voted FOR A2!

Unfortunately, I think others here are right, and not only the crossing over of Repubs to vote Dem, but the fact that a lot of Dems weren't going to vote against A2. Although everyone I know voted against. Even the Bush-supporting Repug I work with at my 2nd job voted against it!
