38. Primer on MO elections today - polls close 7 pm CDT
I have to say I'm disappointed in my state with the Gay marriage amendment. I knew down inside it would pass though. The key here is that we got lucky it didn't make in on Nov 2nd something that the republicans in the state were trying hard to do. Read that Ohio is going to have theirs on Nov 2nd, that does make me nervous.

At least the gambling didn't make it in. I got so tired of seeing those damn commercials with that old crabby bitch on them.

These commercials for those that haven't seen them went on and on about 1000 new jobs and how their kids were leaving the town and blah blah. 1000 new jobs of what, 8 buck an hour garbage with no benefits? Then I find out this town is only a few miles from Branson... heh the capital of low wage jobs in Missouri probably. All the hotels, concessions etc etc.... yeah no jobs available to those in Rockway.. right.

KC Arena passed, I expect the city to fuck it up and impose some good old sales taxes on everybody in a few years to keep it floating.
