I thought the same, til I heard that guy on thisishell last month, talking about Carter, and just how EVIL (best word I can think of) US policy has gotten in Central/South America, as if it could have gotten any worse.

problem IS, our policy there is now in the hands of the likes of Reich, Abrams, Negroponte stooges, Armitage, etal, the architects of some of the most HEINOUS policies ever employed by our government

to see that Carter is a willing participant in this is nauseating

course, his actions go back to the Clinton admin, as well

way to go, media!
