Reply #130: Hey, I haven't added anything to these threads for a while, but...

I have been trying to keep up a bit. As I was digging in to number XX and got to this point I feel I have somethings to add.

First, I am distressed at the discordance but feel that at a certain point after so many have put so much time and effort into it, each individual would naturally take a certain possession of this wonderful effort. After essentially solving the question of "why," and a few threads on follow-up of that discovery, the issue seems to have evolved into "what's next?"

Most agreed to stop the concentration on the investigation and start in on the grassroots "get the word out." Once that was nominally accomplished once again the question naturally came up, "what's next?"

Here is the divergence. With all the wonderful effort by all, no one wanted to drop it, but where to go? Some to continue to push the grassroots get the word out issue, some to continue the investigation and dig deeper. Both have great merit and both need to be done. However, IMHO, they need not be done together.

A continued effort to get the word out on the Plame threads is important, but keep in mind, they are the Plame threads and should concentrate on that.

A new, similar, parallel set of Plame like threads concentrating on 9-11 and maybe the crimes of the BFEE in general, and at some point tying it all up together is a noble effort to undertake as well, though for the future. (The unified BFFE theory?) You will NEVER be able to make the general public swallow MIHOP, much less LIHOP in the 10+ weeks until election. We must choose our battles. That may be a winner someday and if somehow bunnypants frauds his way to another term, I personally am all over it, but it will do more harm than good in the next few months.

I agree that tying them together in some sort of combined theory at this point would diminish the potential power of the Plame information as it relates to the general, uninformed, CNN watching public. They may buy a nice spy outing story, but they are in no way ready for MIHOP or LIHOP and forwarding that notion as a part of the Plame treason would just stain any chance it may have of getting legs.

Let's keep our eyes on the prize, Plame can hurt them NOW. It's all over the news peripherally, with the subpoena of reporters you can bet every journalist is talking about it. It's getting out to Mr. and Mrs. Sheeple, they are slowly awakening that and saying "wha the fuck? Who is this Plame lady anyway?" Once we change the WH, and hopefully at least the senate, we can have some REAL investigations. THAT is job ONE!

For the heck of it I googled "LIHOP." Not very far down on the first page I came across this response by Will Pitt to a criticism that a Truthout article on 9-11 was not hard hitting enough:

What does that mean to you? Can you not in any way connect those words to the work you espouse?

Consider, also, that this wasn't written for you, or for anyone on your list. I repeat: THIS WAS NOT WRITTEN FOR YOU. There are millions of people who would sooner slit their own throats than accept anything having to do with LIHOP . The point of this article was a goad to them to begin reconsidering what they believe to be truth. That's not easy; Christ, if you think 9/11 is the only thing Americans are deluding themselves about, you don't know much abut Americans. This country has a black belt in ignoring unpleasant facts.

As much work as the real 9/11 investigators have done, as much data as they've found, all that has not even made dent one in the mindset of a vast, vast majority of Americans. You're asking them to swallow it all in one gigantic gulp. They'll never do it. Not until they overcome the programming they've been bombarded with for three years (thirteen years, thirty years, three hundred years) and do a little thinking for themselves.

So this was for them, not you. Remember one last thing: Moore's movie comes out in nine days. Most of the people who will see it never knew that Bush sat in that goddam classroom while the world collapsed around his ears. That, and everything else in this film, is going to kick them right in the temple. Then, perhaps, LIHOP becomes something they'll hear.

Maybe they'll read this before they go in. Maybe it'll cook in their thoughts for the next few days, and then they go see the film, and then ...

I got this email below a few minutes before I got yours. This is who I was writing to. If you don't think reaching people in this way is important, you are worse than a waste to the cause. You are a detriment, an anchor.

In closing, I want to thank all of you who have done so much here, you are all heroes and patriots. You have done important work and there is more to be done.
