Maybe he was trying to say that if Ob/GYN's retired then they would not be able to bring more babies into the world.

And if we didn't have OB's maybe women would not want to have as many babies and that would be a terrible thing. All that LOVE that the OB's want to bring into this world.

I know, he really is an idiot and he had no idea what he said.
