If the other guy had gotten a higher score, the American would have known he had to do more to win. It's an impossible situation to second guess.

Otherwise, you're right. My current favorite. My daughter's car was wrecked. A wrecked car is worth less. The insurance company ought to have to make up the difference in value. Guess what we get told? You don't HAVE to tell anybody the car was wrecked when you sell it so you shouldn't lose any money on it. Okay, so when you commit a fraud on an insurance company it's a criminal case but when you commit a fraud on your neighbor because the insurance company won't compensate you fairly, it's buyer beware. Ethics are totally screwed up because of "shrewd" businessmen, that's the problem.
