Dan could probably use a little DU help in this one. It's about halfway down the page toward the right side. You can see when you click "previous polls" that anything involving Smirky or anything dear to the hearts of repukers that the vote tally is higher than normal and favoring their side. This leads me to believe the freeper types are overloading the poll. Just read some of the absurd comments in favor of Cheney's Monkey in some of them and you'll see what I mean.

Seems to me if Boosh can allegedly get bad info/intel several times and get away with it the same standard can be applied to Rather.
