it's just frustration with irrationality. People here don't make fun of other's religions too much (I don't, I hope) because it's understood to be faith. I believe things I can't prove logically, like the Virgin Birth, and if you want to believe something else that's fine by me. But I get very, very frustrated when people post total nonsense pretending it is scientific or historical truth. And with the internet there's a LOT of that.

My wife has told me my main fault is that I don't suffer fools easily. I will, however, try to not pile on so much and I am truly sorry that the original poster was offended.


(still subscribe to Skeptcal Inquirer tho.)
