13. It was my first presidential election....couldn't find polling place
I lived on a college campus in a dorm that was about 25 minutes walking distance from campus out in a kind of secluded area. I was certain the polling place was an elementary school that I had passed by several times before, but when I got there I was instructed to find a school that I had never heard of. I didn't have a car or anyone who could drive me around. The weather was kind of nasty. I was busy that day, but determined to vote. I must have walked around the area for a few hours, but still never found the school. I was and am still pissed off about it. I almost suspect the polling place was assigned to my dorm to make it difficult for students to vote on election day.

I was going to flip a coin to decide between Gore and Nader. Now, I can't believe I ever entertained the thought of voting for Nader, and am pissed at myself for believing his "Tweedle Dee-Tweedle Dum" BS.
