affairs through covert operations against their leaders, fixing elections, deposing legally elected leaders, installing puppets who do our bidding, corrupting entire countries with our money and power is now blowing back ( using Chalmers Johnson's term). It would be important to remember that the Saudi Royal Family, the Kuwaiti Al-Sabahs,The Shah of Iran,Saddam Hussein,Zia,Musharraf, even the Taliban were clients of our CIA at one time or another. It is very appropriate that the 2000 elections were stolen by a Bush whose father had a hand in stealing elections as CIA director in other countries. It should also not surprise us if we see political assassinations targeted against politicians who go against the prevailing powers. This is exactly what Sen.Frank Church warned us against when he headed the Commission to investigate the CIA and called it a "rogue elephant".

Expect more and more events that you cannot explain if * gets elected or selected as the case may be.
