252. ... i like graffiti...
yes, there's a lot of nice places in SF, a hell of a lot for a major city. but it is very expensive.

the poor areas, yeah, but that's expected. they gotta live somewhere too. now do you have to go there? no. but they can be some of the better places to party (don't knock it 'til you try it). it also reminds you it is a city, not some 'burb. yet to find a city sparkling clean everywhere you went anyways. :D

love SF, gorgeous city, full of life and diversity. i also like oakland, unlike a lot of people. it tends to weed out the suburbanites from the urbanites. but then there are parts of the Bay Area that feels exactly like a rural hamlet in the Appalachians. a wonderful mix. it all fits here.

give me rats, piss, graffiti, crack addicts, rodeos, equestrian trails, hiking trails, rifle ranges, megamalls, freeways, backroads, alleys, skyscrapers, museums, ethnic enclaves, business parks, marinas, farmer's markets, and strip malls. give me all of it, i don't want to go without a thing. and the best part? we get along surprisingly well. it's like a kind of magic. :D

though yes, affordable housing would be nice. can't be perfect now though, otherwise the world will end.
