enters politics (presidential campaigning being the ultimate level) should be unsurprised to draw criticism. However, a 12 year old who happens to live in the White House SHOULD expect privacy.

I don't know about you but I didn't expect them to "go rogue and come out Dem", but they did say before the campaign that they would NOT be on the trail and in fact Jenna had announced taking a teaching job in NYC. She, at least, made a conscious decision to blow that off and tool around with dad. Now I completely understand supporting your own father wholeheartedly, that doesn't mean her father's NOT an asshole, and certainly doesn't releive her of facing criticism. There is also no need for "guilt by association" since her/their actions speak for themselves. They're trailer trash bona fides are supplied by their own conduct, their father's faults notwithstanding.
