Mike Leavitt as secretary of Health and Human Services.

The Christian Right absolutely hates Leavitt and does not want him as secretary of HHS.

He is a Republican (Did you expect Bush to nominate a Democrat?). Yet, he is opposed to abortion, abstinence education, etc.

Should we let all Bush nominees just win? No, and I am hoping we will all oppose the nomination of Alberto Gonzales and others like him.

The Christian Right has used Bush to pass their evil agenda. Now, it is time to make things right again and turn the tables on the Christian Right. And, letting Leavitt win would be an excellent first strike.
