One of those "cottages" that the National Park rents out.
I loved the mongooses and we would leave them eggs on the picnic table and watch them eat.
I was a wild and crazy girl in those days and decided to go on this vacation on a whim.
I can recall I had 50 bites on my inner forearm alone from the "no see ems", but the Carribean far surpasses Hawaii inspite of the bugs.
The crystal clear waters and the friendly natives live on in my memory.
