1. I got my draft notice.
2. I went to Canada with my girl friend. I loved her even though I knew that she wanted to rejoin her other draft dodging boyfriend but I drove her there anyway.
3. My father and uncle tracked me down and and talked me into coming back.
4. I did basic at Fort Dix and AIT at Fort Sill.
5. I spent the entire next year in Vietnam.
6. I made it home alright.
7. I worked for a while then decided to let the army pay for my electronics education.
8. I excelled at electronics.
9. I married the girl that I took to Nova Scotia to see her boy friend.
10. I am still married to the same girl after somewhere around 35 years and still love her intensely. I mean I really do love her. Would not want to be with anyone else.
