This is just too funny.
Some yahoo named Charles Wilson decided to write a truly silly troll e-mail to American Politics Journal. The guys and babes over at APJ refer to such tripe as "Cro-Magnon Mail" -- and this time, their content editor, JJ Balzer, decided to send a little bit of his love back to the knuckledragger in question. The exchange that followed will have you doubled over with laughter -- especially given that JJ is a proud liberal alumnus of the very conservative-leaning University of Chicago (I was a freshman there when he was a senior) -- a fact to which the not-so-knowledgable Mr. Wilson, who seems to have a grudge against all institutions of higher education, is clearly oblivious.
It's a total riot -- and now the free world can get in on the fun.
APJ is running a contest to come up with the best response/comment/snark/rebuttal of Wilson, with the prize being -- in a delicious bit of irony -- a brand-spanking-new copy of George Crile's terrific
"Charlie Wilson’s War," a real-life thriller about the legendary, scandal-ridden congressman (picture James Bond meets JR Ewing with a dash of Wilbur Mills) who got the US to back the Afghan resistance after the Soviet invasion.
Hey, if you haven't read it, go ahead and unleash your inner snark -- never turn down a chance at a free read (or a chance to make a Freeper a bigger fool than he already is).
ON Edit: link fixed.
