edited to add a few highlights:

MONTREAL -- A man who married a girl when she was 10 said yesterday he did nothing illegal because, he argues, Canadian law allows people of any age to wed. The law has been kept secret from the public, the man told his preliminary hearing on five sex-abuse charges.
