(used to be non political) husband said today after reading that statement in our republican biased newspaper. There aren't a lot of liberals here in GJ, CO but we are very vocal and pretty pushy. We have been saddened by GW stealing the election a 2nd time and worry about the effect he and his are having on our great nation. Perhaps Lieberman, like all collaborators is hoping that he'll be viewed as an ally should we turn into a police state.

I am so glad that my parents are both dead. My mother (who survived Nazi Germany) would be horrified to see what is happening in the adopted country she loved so much. And the same is true of my father a career soldier who served in the military for 30 years because he believed ours was the best country in the world and always said that unless we participated in freedom we were doomed to lose it. Although I miss them both I'm glad they can't see what is happening.
