As Sunday's election nears, Iraq is dominating the headlines. Wednesday was the deadliest day for U.S. troops since the war began, with more than 30 dead. Also on Wednesday, President Bush spent a good portion of his news conference defending his Iraq policy. And, each day brings news of insurgent attacks, some designed to disrupt the election.
