I Kid You Not: 700 Club Telethon is for Crazies -- "Jesus Bought My Truck"

So, I noticed it on the ticker, last night, and flipped over for laughs.

They were telling, you know, "heartwarming" stories about the power of prayer, and whatnot, and they told this story of a guy, who was down to his last seven dollars, and he made

A DARING INVESTMENT

Which was, of course, to mail his last seven bucks to the Pat Robertson Diamond Mine Telethon. What happened?

Well, things started looking up, of course. They got a mysterious $35,000 check in the mail, which "bought our truck."

Now, if they're preying on people for their last seven bucks, these are some sick-ass individuals.

Wouldn't God prefer that Mr. Truck march his seven bucks down the street to buy some bread and pass it out to some homeless, rather than have Pattty Robertson shave 90 percent off the top for diamond surveying, amusement parks and fascist think tanks?

These people are nutso.
