29. Traditionally, if you were thinking of running for president, you'd file |

with the FCC (you register your committee), which alows you to rasie funds. Once you see that you can raise the money, you then announce that you're running for president. The announecement generally gets a lot of publicity, so it's timed to maximize exposure at a moment when you want lots of exposure.
