The war in Iraq is going to shit in a frightful hurry. It's Vietnam all over again. The repukes know this. Why else do you think they are frantically repeating over and over again: 'Freedom is on the march. Th'Eye-rackies 'r' free! We gave 'em freedom! They welcomed us with open arms!'
They know it is a pile of shit but don't dare admit it. They may want a Democratic President in 2008 who will cut throught the horseshit and bring home however many of our troops are left alive. Then, for the rest of time, the repukes can blame the Dem President who "betrayed our troops" and "made us lose the war". They can continue to pretend to themselves that B*sh is NOT a collossal fuckup who lost the war before it ever even began.
That's how I see it, anyway.
