I am so tired of RW conspiracy theorists.

Is anyone else as tired of RW conspiracy theorists as I am? All these people are coming forward from El Douchebag to Rummy to Cheney. All of them are espousing these crazy paranoid theories that the world is out to get the US.

I can not count how many times I have heard the paranoid rantings of these people claiming that the world has come together to bring our downfall and make us look bad. Every single one of them claim that Newsweek, The Red Cross and AI got together with the prisoners held at Gitmo and decided to concoct this huge story about prisoner abuse.

These folks have really lost it this time. They are claiming this conspiracy while at the same time using some of these same organizations to prove a point about other countries. They are raving lunatics. This kind of paranoia can get you locked up in a padded cell.

I would hate to see anyone we know get caught up in the delusions of these mad men. The next time someone says to you the torture stories are made up to make the US look bad, please make sure you tell them you had no idea they bought into conspiracy theories. When they look at you strangely and ask why you would say such a thing, explain to them what a global scale this 'fraud' would need to be perpetrated on in order for it to work. Wow, and they say we have conspiracy theories - I am not sure I have ever seen one on this grand a scale.
