Clark not our "military" saviour

I have been visiting lots of military discussion boards and I would say something like 90% of the people on the boards, most of whom are veterans, in the military, or come from military families are totally against Clark. Most of the posts called him a stooge of the Clintons and question his command in Kosovo.

I was very surprised by the negative sentiments. Even people who claimed to be classmates of his at West Point said they wouldn't vote for him. On a sidenote reading the boards, one would think that Bush Jr. was some great war hero like Ike.

I'm not sure if this has to do with the military's blind loyalty towards Republicans/conservatism or a genuine dislike for Clark.

Either way, Clark perhaps is not the military saviour that many of us might feel he is.
