Talk show host kills wife with anti-freeze

I saw this story on MSNBC Abraham's Report, and found the link to WAPO here:

Two things stand out

1) His haircut in the photo in the WaPO article, it is just crying out "Wingunt";

2) His show on KLIK 1240 AM in Jefferson City, Missouri was titled PARTY LINE with a Paul Harvey lead in/out, has O'reily and a few other small potatoes financial commentators around him on the station, and is owned by Cumulus, which covers mid and small markets in the red states.

This comment by the station manager is priceless;

"It's devastating for us," said Scott Boltz, market manager for Cumulus Media Inc., which owns KLIK. "It was just devastating for our staffers and the community at large. He showed up for work every day. He worked hard."

"Keown, a Missouri radio talk show host, was arrested Monday in Jefferson City, Mo., in connection with the poisoning death of his wife Julie Keown of Waltham, Mass. in September 2004. Keown was arrested Monday on a murder charge for allegedly poisoning his wife by spiking her Gatorade with a chemical found in antifreeze."


What a scumbag.
