300 protest Cheney's fundraiser for DeLay.

Pictures coming soon.

While only 100 attended the fundraiser for Tom DeLay with Vice President Dick Cheney as the key note speaker, about 300 peaceful, yet very vocal protestors were outside wooing the thousands of passerbyers on Westheimer.

In a very Republican area, the protestors were greeted with long lasting honking from bumper to bumper motorists. Many rolled down the windows to voice their support. There was absolutely no sign of opposition on the street. Not one single middle finger salute or negative outcry.

The event was covered by every major mdea organization in Houston, including the Associated Press, and the Fox News Network, although the camera and reporter were very pissy and refused to talk with any of the protestors. The other news organizations were at the very least interested in who was the organizers and who would be available for an interview. Unlike Fox News, they were polite.

CNN reported during the protest that only 36% of DeLays constituents had a positive opinion of DeLay, and that any Democrat would beat DeLay 49 to 36% if the election was held today.

Delay is in deep doo-doo.
