Should gay people be allowed to get married and adopt children?

I think that they should. Gay people pay taxes, so they should be afforded the same rights as EVERYBODY else, it's as simple as that.

They should be allowed exactly the same fiscal and social benefits that heterosexual people have...including when their partner dies.

Also I see no problem with gay people being allowed to adopt children. There are thousands and thousands of children out there, who need a good and loving home...I'm sure that many gay people could offer those children a good and loving home. They are as valuable to society as anybody else.

I understand that this isn't probably a big vote winner. However, I think we could keep it on the backburner. Once we get back into charge, we could then launch it onto the nation. Yes, there would be a bit of a hullabaloo...but after a while, I think that the majority of people would just kind of get used to it.

So, do you think that gay people should be allowed to get married and adopt children?
