Yes he is up there in age, but if McCain can run, so could Murtha. He is fast becoming one of our strongest Iraqi war critics. He has strong defense credentials and served in the Korean War and Vietnam (winning two purple hearts, and a bronze star). He is a old style Democrat. I think he would add alot to almost any ticket we come up with--especially if McCain were the nominee:
Clark/Murtha
Feingold/Murtha
Edwards/Murtha
Warner/Murtha
Bayh/Murtha
The Northeasters running though may not want to put another northeasterner on the ticket? but who knows.
