My daughter who lives in DC left a message on my answering machine tonight that a rumor is "flying around DC" that Cheney is going to resign and Bush is going to appoint Lieberman to take his place. She said that it is pretty crazy but that it is the rumor.
Edit to add: she also said that Cheney resignation would be "for health reasons"
