Just sent this to Congressman Bishop (unfortunately, my Rep in Congress)...
"Congressman Bishop,
I am writing to ask that you support articles of impeachment against President George W. Bush. I do not make this request lightly. The president has shown a reckless disregard for the rule of law, the Constitution of the United States and has, in fact, shown contempt for the American people and for the members of Congress who represent them as well as for the Judiciary and very concept of separation of powers as enumerated in the Constitution. His recent admission to ordering the NSA to monitor Citizens of the United States without a court ordered warrant is in direct violation of the Constitutional protections under the fourth Amendment and of FISA. This is only the latest revelation of his willingness to abuse the powers granted to him by Article II of the Constitution, push the powers granted to him by Congress beyond any pale of reason and abuse and neglect his oath of office to preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States of America. As a citizen of this country, I have no faith in George W. Bush willingness or ability to continue to faithfully fulfill his duties and obligations as President of the United States and I ask you, as my elected representative in Congress to pursue this matter to the fullest extent of the law.
George W. Bush came into office promising to restore honor and faith in the Office of the Presidency. Instead, he has brought a regime of lies, dishonor, deceit, manipulation and abuse of power. It is time for his removal. It is time to restore integrity and honor to this country. It is time for you to act."
