16. He needs to qualify that.
It was certainly not a good year for families who lost loved ones or had loved ones come home wounded in his illegal war in Iraq. It was not a good year for people devastated by Katrina and other natural disasters. It was not a good year for people who lost jobs thanks to downsizing, plant closures, and outsourcing. It was not a good year for families who lost their life savings and/or homes because of a medical crisis they couldn't afford. It was not a good year for the homeless and the working poor who are one rent payment away from the street. It was not a good year for workers who saw their pensions slashed by corporate greed. It was not a good year for anyone who put gasoline in the tank or opened a winter heating bill. It was not a good year for seniors forced to choose between food and medicine and the millions of children who also live in poverty.

How dare this S.O.B., who lives in a protective bubble and never comes face to face with ordinary people, spew such bullshit. If anything, it's been a crappy year for the American people, and only destined to get crappier under his watch.
