Advertising Age is running an online poll asking, “Should marketers bow to pressure from groups like the American Family Association?” At the time of this post, the results are 60/40 in favor of the AFA.

Please take a moment to vote at http://www.adage.com/poll.cms . It’s vital that America’s corporate leaders understand that a majority of Americans do not share the extreme views of the AFA or like-minded organizations. The poll ends today at 4PM today (I'm assuming that's for each time zone).

This past year saw an unprecedented number of attacks by the American Family Association against businesses that support the gay and lesbian community. When companies are targeted they experience weeks or months of sustained phone calls, emails and letters from RW radicals. Some even face boycotts.

Please lend your voice to this poll. Thanks! :hi:
