10. The main thrust of her legal argument: Well Clinton did it too!
Her tirades were juvenile rantings that amounted to: "Gee Dad, so what if I stayed out late on a school night? Everyone else does it". And she seemed to be very pleased with herself when she stated that the FISA Court would not find probable cause to approve a warrant merely on the basis that an e-mail existed mentioning Osama Bin Laden, therefore making warrantless wiretaps necessary. She said she had personally had involvement in dealings with the FISA Court on this subject, outing to an extent her own activities. Since the FISA Court virtually rubber stamps everything and has denied almost nothing, I would really love to hear from others in the Clinton Administration on this subject. I doubt that the FISA Court would refuse very much of what the government asks, no matter how tenuous the probable cause, unless it involves clear violations of law such as wiretapping Americans as a primary goal such as that which Bush has done.

I'm sure that if Clinton had engaged in multiple violations of the law, admitting it on national television and arrogantly telling the people that it would continue to occur as a matter of policy, that he would have been tried, convicted, and sentenced.
