The irony of Drudge's Weekend Web site
Advertisements [?]
Have you noticed that Drudge's web site sort of slides on the weekend? By that I mean that it stays the same, esepcially if there's no new happening. Ironically, however, today the lead story talks about the sun setting as Ronnie was laid to rest. There's a picture of a Marine saluting, which, of course, is fine. I have the utmost respect for the military.

But this is the first thing I see when I check out his site today. I know, I know, turn my radio off; or in this case, click to another site. Drudge, inmho, however leaning far to the right, usually gets the news first. (even if he has to make it up)That's why I usually check out his site first.

No biggie. Just probably unintended ironnie, er, irony.

My boss invited me to join them yesterday as they were glued to super doppler funeral coverage. I quickly declined, making up an excuse on the spur of the moment. You see, I saw only about 1 minute (collectively, based on passing tv's and radios) of all the Reagan hype.

How amazing that our country is able to program its populace so prodigiously. (sorry, I couldn't resist that)

Anyway, have a super swell weekend!

Stew

P.S. Oh, have you heard that former President Reagan died?
