In my experience, church halls have about as much atmosphere as school cafeterias. And election officials are not connected to the church.

Besides, not all churches have identical policies. Even the Catholic church only agrees with Bush on a couple of points, despite the grandstanding bishops who've decided that withholding Communion for those who allow abortion to be legal is a good idea. Capital punishment, starting wars & social injustice are against Catholic teachings.

Voting in an Intermediate School does not make me want to rush out for some Clearasil & the latest copy of Seventeen.
