8. I heard the dumb ass say earlier this week that moving inland
about 10 miles was enough. Who the fuck did he have advising him? I live 70 miles away from Myrtle Beach and approximately 80-90 miles away from Charleston and I can tell you that the damage in South Carolina from Hurricane Hugo in 1989 was almost statewide and very extensive! Hell, this thing went on up to Charlotte and kicked it's ass--from there I don't know what happened because we were without power or media outlets for days afterwards. Some folks didn't have power for up to a month after Hugo. That's what a Cat 4 storm will do and Charley was larger than Hugo. What a dumb ass! But then again, he's *'s brother--what do you expect????? Now they've got a state official on MSNBC saying that they were prepared, that they knew where it was going, that they knew it was going to strengthen and patting themselves on the back for their efforts to evacuate folks. Too bad it was in the wrong damn direction!!!
