Bushville moved to Central Park for the day in order to talk about what is happening to homeless people in New York City in preperation for the Republican National Convention. While the general public has focused on the question of a permit in regards to Central Park another important issue that has been made to disappear from the media is the fact that poor people are being swept from Central Park, other parks and streets in New York City and across the country.

At around 8:30 at night four members of the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign were arrested while practicing their first amendment rights in a public park, they then went to jail and were handcuffed until 1am in the morning to a metal pole.
