The United States Committee for a Free Lebanon (USCFL) was established in 1997 by Ziad Abdelnour, among others, as a lobbying and propaganda organization in favor of United States intervention to end Syrian intervention in Lebanese politics. Many of its key advisers are neoconservatives, such as Richard Perle and Douglas Feith.
