Apparently they are excited just because he was a military man and they cannot stomach Bush landing on the aircraft carrier (their jealousy is eating them alive) but they will be sorely mistaken when his past comes back to haunt him.
Like AWOL's past came back to haunt him?
I doubt that anyone is jealous of a sock puppet whose owner proclaims "Mission Accomplished" and with that phrase (like "Read my Lips") destroys his chance of reelection. Jealous? Hell, we should all LOVE that little stunt (and why not? Our tax dollars paid for it).
