22. The Images Were Too Damning...
The words of "Brownie" saying he knew nothing about the convention center while the dying are show on the split screen. The screamings of Anderson Cooper, Geraldo, Shep Smith, Brian Williams and many others put forth the question..."do you believe me or do you believe your lying eyes?"

People saw several very troubling things in their manchild in the past week. His taking his time to get back and then LYING (and this one he can't deny) about not knowing about the severity of the storm. His photo-op around the region on Friday was such a bust, they had to damage control that one all weekend and try it again on Monday.

At home, while the people and a city was dying right on their television screens, millions around the country were seeing their own city or town and wondering if this could happen to them. Gone in an instant was that security blanket that this regime will "keep you safe". If anything, they see how the politics trumps the human. It's what they hated about Clinton and they're seeing it all over again.

I don't think we really know the fall-out of this. And it'll depend on how Democrats play the many questions raised in this disaster. This regime and the Repugnican party have opened up a big wound, one I don't think they can bandage up with talking points and photo ops anymore. It's now ingrained in too many memories.
