77. The only hope of keeping it from spreading
would be quarantine. This is not a new concept. It probably has been included in all public health plans of action forever. If it does get here though it will hit in more than one spot. They might try and isolate the areas but it will be futile.

People will sneak out while infected and others will sneak into more remote urban places where they think they will be safer and it will spread. If it comes in like they think it will, it will overwhelm resources all over the world. Hell, I will quarantine myself if it comes into the country.

I understand it will come in waves with the second wave possibly the worst. Best to have six months of food in the pantry, lots of disinfectant, and fluids on hand. The military will be infected too, at least what is left of them in the country. It will be a giant disaster.
There is no vaccine, tamiflu if it works against the strain that comes in only mitigates the sx once exposed. You will still get the flu.

You will be on your own as this will be a million times worse than what NO was like. No way a quarantine will work military or not.
