Even if they don't close schools, you may want to consider keeping your kids home anyway. Probably a tough call, but there it is.

There was an interesting study recently that found children are the biggest flu vector there is. Probably because of their "relaxed" attitude toward hygiene :-)

The authors of the study recommended vaccinating children. But there will not be vaccine for an avian flu strain. Not enough, anyway.
