I am mostly joking, too, but I do think that if you actively support and contribute to certain causes, someone, somewhere, could be taking note and saving it for future reference. I had a job like that once - every little mistake ever made by an employee was brought up if the employee was called into a "disciplinary meeting" for whatever reason, be it a critical error or minor oversight. If that can happen in a company, I don't see why the government (especially THIS government) would be any different, since it is overwhelmingly pro-business and run by the same people who control the major businesses in America (and the world).

Please feel free to correct me if you think I'm talkin' outta my ass - I'm still new here and I'm spending a lot of time reading and learning about the vile ways of the *ush corpocracy in other DU forums, and I am not NEARLY as well informed yet as the majority of DUers!
