Lets have an offense and a defense in baseball. Nine guys who hit and nine guys who play the field. Lets put in sand traps in the outfield and allow the outfielders to wear jetpacks so they can fly to catch flyballs. Let's use flourescent balls and play in blacked out stadiums. Lets let the fans vote and decide how defenders will play each batter. Lets get progressive. NOT!
Ban the sissy DH rule
Have pitchers take batting practice. Do ya think they'd have the time?
Ban artificial turf, ban domed stadiums
Each team must schedule at least 50 day games a year
NOW THAT WOULD BE PROGRESS!
