or just dealt with it. I have no problem with dogs, and have learned, inexplicably, that it's short-haired cats that I'm allergic to, and not long-haired. No wonder I was so attached to my Rhiannon.

I agree that fish are great! They do have personalities. I had a little spotted goldfish, as a kid, who would bang on his bowl to remind me to feed him. I also got attached to one of the fish in the tank at the hospital where I used to have to go for my ultrasounds. I mentioned this to one of the techs there, and she agreed that he was the most personable of the fish. He resembled Nemo. Think about getting fish.:-)
