24 years ago tomorrow....I still miss Lennon

They were just playing "A Day In a Life" on the radio and I realized it will be 24 years ago tomorrow that John was assassinated. Unreal... I sort of feel old, but on the other hand I still have the same feelings I did 24 years ago at the age of 16.
It was one of those days that I will remember like it was yesterday. I ingested some chemical that day and spent the whole day in the smoking lounge at school. It was the outside court in the middle of the school where we would sit and jam on guitars and whatever. We also got to smoke..lol. We have come a long way. I sat outside all day and didn't go to hardly any classes. I do remember going to one and the teacher said we weren't going to do anything because of what had happened, and he had a radio playing the music.
Strange day that was. I know this is a bit premature, but this time of the year always gets me thinking back to those days.
